How long does he stay lit at night?
It depends on how much sun he got that day. A full bright day charges him for a long evening glow; a grey, overcast day gives you a shorter one. Somewhere with a few hours of direct sun is ideal — but even a part-shaded spot will light him up.
Do I need to bring him in for winter?
No. He’s made from sealed weather-resistant resin and designed to live outside all year, through rain and frost. The only winter tip: wipe leaves or snow off the small solar panel so he can still charge on short days.
Is there anything to install or plug in?
Nothing at all. Take him out of the box, choose a spot that catches some daylight, and that’s the setup finished. No cable, no plug, no timer, no app.
Will he look cheap in daylight?
